No ordering to do stuff, to run errands like office girl, instead the in-charge kept asking us to eat the snakcs the hotel had provided! In fact, I didn't help much, most of the time i were just standing there and smile to everyone walking pass, A typical Vase, and kept eating snacks! From morning breakfast, to lunch then tea, gosh, I'm suppose to be still on DIET status..... </span><br /><span style="color:#330033;"></span><br /><span style="color:#330033;">Anyway, the people I met today are supposely to be the big shots- CEOs lah, MDs lah, or representatives from listed company that had did v well for the last quater. Saw some charming Ang Mos, esp one with ocean blue eyes!!! Was charmed till I stoped funtioning for 3 s after he look up from his notes when I asked him his choice for drink. Finally saw my company's BIG BOSS, Edmund Lee, haha, thank god that I didn't approach him with "Hi sir, may I help you" line, or else i can't imagine how my Bitchy Boss is going to screw me for this. Well, at least this is an eye-opener for a start.</span><br /><span style="color:#330033;"></span><br /><span style="color:#330033;">Lunch was the most exciting part, senior from my dept and me, we dun feel like eating buffet and squeeze with the crowd, so we sneak into dinning rm where they serve corporate lunch. Haha, we just went over to a round table, sat down and started eating... The rest of plp start talking abt economic, the future of china, potential of India etc, in a language that we dun really know... Well, main course is "High Class"Hainanese Chicken Rice, haha, serve in elegant plate, and we just ate in silence, trying hard to looked and nodded in agreement that we know what the hell they are talking to! Ha, was so nervous when CEO from MidiaRing made eye contact with me, when he was discussing with DBSV Research AVP who is sitting beside me! Wah, so afraid that he will pop me a question which I will give the an answer that make a fool out of myself. Well, heng for me, lunch was smooth.....</span><br /><span style="color:#330033;"></span><br /><span style="color:#330033;">Highlights of the day are 1) A guy from research dept came over and intro himself as a polite gesture, his name is Keith. Nice name. 2) The In-Charge was so please with my PR skill and client services that she actually praised me! ( Hope this gets back to my Boss...) 3) Happen to sit beside research dept AVP during lunch and get my first offical name card. 4) I had lots of nice prawn rolls!!!! Ha, happy, but tml will be v Xiong for me, will try to learn fast and put my sweet voice into use soon!!!!</span><br /><span style="color:#330033;"></span><br /><span style="color:#330033;">My objective for this job still stand: Learn all I need to learn, and get out of there! Wahahahah. Bad attitude, but well, I still believe that I will do my best as long as i'm taking their money.
